Echeveria is a plant genus of about 150 species of succulent plants in the stonecrop family (Crassulaceae). They are typically rose-shaped with broad fleshy leaves with waxy, velvety, or powdery surfaces and are often iridescent, sometimes red-edged when exposed to sunlight. Echeverias are popular among collectors for their compact symmetrical leaf rosettes, prominent stalked inflorescence (flower cluster), and variety of colors and sizes.

How to care for your succulent:
-Water: Only when the soil feels dry. Do not water the leaves. Drought tolerant, but still needs water from time to time.
-Temperature: Does not tolerate temperatures below freezing for extended periods of time. Cover your succulent with a sheet or light blanket in times of frost.
-Flowering: In winter to early spring, it produces dark pink bell-shaped flowers
-Succulents love good sun and great drainage
- make sure the pot has a hole at the bottom to drain water
- choose high porous soil (not rich compost)
- they are not meant to be indoor plants
- make sure they get good air circulation
