Garden phlox (Phlox paniculata) is a hardy, long-lived perennial with a romantic charm. From midsummer to early fall, the sturdy, upright plants are topped with large clusters of fragrant flowers that come in a fantastic range of colors including white, pink, fuchsia, red, lavender, purple and orange as well as dozens of eye-catching bicolors. The sweet-smelling, nectar-rich blossoms attract butterflies and hummingbirds and are beautiful in summer flower arrangements.

Phlox paniculata Lilac Time is a gorgeous addition to the summer garden! Its softly-colored purple blooms emit a slight sweet fragrance.

Attractive Phlox from the Paniculata group with large umbels consisting of many soft lilac-coloured flowers. Naturalizing easily, this phlox is a strong perennial that fits in any garden!

Light: Phlox may be grown in full sun or partial shade. The plants will produce more flowers when they are grown in full sun.

Soil Conditions: Phlox should be planted in fertile, well-drained soil where they will get a consistent supply of moisture throughout the summer. They will not tolerate drought.

Plant phlox in spring when the weather is cool and the soil is moist.
