America's favorite tulip! The Angelique Tulip is a double-late flowering tulip with soft pink petals arranged in an open cup resembling peonies, hence their often-used name Peony Flowering Tulip. Huge flowers stand atop 40 cm high stems. It works well in bouquets with other shades of pink as well as purple. Of horticultural origin, it is currently classified in the group of "Late Double," whose main characteristics of interest are their enormous flowers with numerous petals reminiscent of peonies and their resistance to weather.
