Chlorophytum Comosum Curly is an easy-care, air-purifying houseplant that tolerates the shade well and is non-toxic around pets. This variegated perennial spider plant works well in hanging containers as well as normal pots. It can reach a length of 50 cm and a width of 50 cm.
These plants have grown since photos were taken, now reading about 10 inches / 22 centimetres in length.
Care: Prefers indirect light. Tolerates shade but this slows its growth. Avoid harsh sunlight.
Keep well-watered, with moist soil. Don't allow it get water-bound, and water less during the winter as growth slows, allowing the top soil to dry.
Average household temperatures are fine.
Do not fertilize in winter.
Repotting frequency: Every 2 to 3 years (Repotting period: From April to May)
A healthy plant will develop little plantlets on long stems. You can pinch these off and put them in compost to easily create new plants.
